Locating the culprit in a malfunctioning Power Window Motor and/or Regulator requires the interior of the vehicle’s door to be disassembled to gain access to the work area (PLEASE NOTE that some recent models now require that you disassemble not only the interior of the door but also remove the outer skin of the door to gain access to the glass and power units). Once the units are exposed, the area is cleaned and power tests are performed to identify the problem. The defective unit is then replaced and the door reassembled.
